History

IDEA STUDIOS IS AN AFFLIATE of the IDEA Performing Arts Center. The STUDIO was established in 2013 to serve as a profit generating media arm for IDEA in order to provide multi media design services such as Graphics, TV and Sound Production services to nonprofit, commercial and individual customers in the Tri State area. IDEA STUDIOS also serves as a Media Training Facility for Career readiness and job development for Youth in 21st century workforce skills.

Goals & Objectives
IDEA STUDIOS long-term goals are to provide high quality multi media services to our customer in a timely manner, so as to encourage repeat business and create a loyal customer base; to grow at a steady and manageable rate. To generate profits that can create job opportunities for underserved youth in the Camden area. All profits go back into the running of the studio and the nonprofit.
Mission
IDEA‘s mission as an arts education and creative learning organization is to connect underserved youth and their families to the life affirming quality of the arts. Our work is about building more socially resourceful and vibrant communities by strengthening human potential through creativity, culture and arts based learning.

As part of our mission our goal for the IDEA STUDIOS is to also train and support regional youth and adults in economic empowerment with business and employment training in multi media/ digital literacy skills for the creative economy related businesses and employment.  We will also strive to nurture artistic innovation and the development of new works to challenge and inspire audiences with powerful and transformative performances and collaborations; and to integrate the arts into the life of the community
